        A small-time TV artiste was among the four arrested by the Anti-Vice Squad police for their involvement in prostitution.

        Acting on a tip off, squad inspector Meikappan and his team waited near the Guindy bus stand in disguise when a broker Panneerselvam approached them. After a deal, the police team in plainclothes was taken to a waiting autorickshaw where two girls were sitting. The team immediately arrested the two girls — Suganthi, the TV artiste, and Kamila Banu on charges of prostitution, besides the pimp and the auto driver.
