        Chennai-based EVP group, a real estate and construction company in collaboration with Viglacera Tienson Granite Company, a Vietnam-based tiles manufacturing major, has launched an exclusive range of vitrified and ceramic wall and floor tiles in the city.

        Speaking to reporters, EVP group general manager M P David said that they would import these products from Vietnam to their distribution centres situated in key locations across the country.

        He said that an agreement has been signed between Vietnam tiles major for 10 years. This, he said would generate employment for 20,000 people and added that the EVP group would invest Rs 20 crore into this new venture. Manufacturing glass sanitaryware and other construction related items are also in the pipe line. The new product to be marketed under the brand name 'EVP Hitiles' in Chennai initially and later to be expanded to Delhi and Mumbai metros.

        EVP group chairman E V Perumalsami Reddy, EVP group vice chairman Santosh Reddy, Ngo Van Tanh, sales director of Viglacera Tien Son Granite Company and Nguyen Van Sinh, director of Viglacera Tien Son Granite Company were among those present on the occasion.
