Online customer care from BSNL

Chennai, Sept 21:

        Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Tamilnadu Telecom Circle, has launched a Customer Care Portal (CCP) with effect from 15 September in order to handle online requests from customers in the State. According to a press release, BSNL is going in for an online customer care facility which would assist customers in availing themselves of a wide range of telecom services - landline, mobile, broadband, leased line, etc provided by BSNL.

        It is now being extended to cover services available in Tamilnadu (excluding Chennai metro, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts which fall under the jurisdiction of Chennai Telephones) and Puducherry. The services available on CCP fall under three categories:

        (a) New Line Request: New landline/ cell phone/ leased line/ BDN / broadband/ WLL connection, etc.

        (b) Working Line Requests: Shift, broadband provision, change of tariff plan, add on facilities, DNC registration, etc.

        (c) Companies and Suggestions: Faults, duplicate bill requests, excess metering,etc.
