Chennai, Mar 21:
Close on the heels of the success of its promotion of Marhaba Services in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Dnata's innovative airport passenger services unit at Dubai International Airport, is gearing up to boost its presence in the Indian sub-continent with plans to market all Marhaba Services in India.
Dnata, a travel management services major in the UAE, has teamed up with Kuoni Travel group, India to sell Marhaba's wide range of passenger assistance services in India.
For a small fee, travellers can access the Marhaba passenger lounges at Terminal I at Dubai's airport, to rest and refresh, regardless of their airline of travel.
According to Dnata executive vice president Ismail Ali Albanna, 'Marhaba's innovative services have been highly valued by our customers since its inception. We are please to partner with Kuoni India to make Marhaba Services more easily available to travellers from India. We continue to look at opportunities to expand Marhaba into other markets in the future.'
Kuoni India CEO and managing
director Zubin Karkaria said, 'India's booming economy is fuelling a rapid
increase in international travel and bringing about many first time travellers.
For such travellers, unfamiliar with the local language and airport procedures,
travelling can be stressful. Marhaba reduces this stress by assisting passengers
through the airport formalities.'
