        Dr Kasi Periaswamy, programme director, Master of Software Engineering (MSE) Programme, University of Wisconsin, USA conducted a seminar on 'Computing Sciences' on 18 July at SMK Fomra Institute of Technology.

        In his speech, Dr Kasi Periaswamy brought to light the use of computer in various fields like advertising and finance.

        He stressed that fields like Bio informatics, Computational biology, Graphics have immense opportunities to explore and grow.

        The seminar was attended by more than 200 students from various engineering departments of the college, a press release said.
