        A one-day training programme on 'kitchen gardening' will be conducted by the Urban Horticulture Development Centre of Tamilnadu Agricultural University (TNAU) at P 44, 6th Avenue, Anna Nagar on 26 July, between 9.30 am and 4 pm.

        The course content will be on media and potting mixture preparation, seedling raising, cultivation aspects of tomato, brinjal, chilli, vegetative propagation methods, planting and disease management.

        The programme will be useful to house wives, students, gardeners, senior citizens, residents in flats, farmers, students, botanists, horticulturists and environmentalists.
