        The big guns had things their way as the ICL Senior National Squash moved to a finale. The men's section saw top-seed Saurav Ghosal and Siddharth Suchde set up a title clash while the top two — Joshna Chinnappa and Dipika Pallikal will vie for the women's crown at the ICL Squash Academy here.

        Harinder Pal Singh who played a marathon match to beat Parth Sharma in the quarterfinals, fought bravely but could not match Saurav Ghosal, who 9-3, 9-3, 9-4.

        Siddharth Suchde the other finalist had it easy against Gaurav Nandrajog and wrapped the match in straight sets 9-2, 9-1, 9-0 in 40 minutes. Joshna had it easy against Surbhi who wrapped the match in just 22 minutes in straight sets 9-5; 9-1; 9-4. The other semifinal saw a better contest as Dipika and Anwesha Reddy battled hard for every point. The highly-rated Dipika won 9-1, 9-3, 10-8.

        Professionals: Balamurugan bt Kalimuthu 9-4, 9-2, 9-6; Dalip Tripathi bt Sanjay Pawar 9-7, 9-5, 9-5.
