        FAn unclaimed gold chain found on the Government General Hospital premises was handed over to the police by the attendants of a patient.

        According to the police, two women, who came to the hospital to see a Bangalore-based Anglo-Indian patient, found a four and a half sovereign gold chain lying in the 125th ward.

        Immediately, they handed over the chain to the police at the General Hospital police station. It may be recalled that two gold bangles, which were found in the hospital some time back under the same circumstances were handed over to the Court by the police, since no one claimed ownership for the jewellery.
