        The prequel to the grand finale of the Russian Dance and Music Festival in Tamil Nadu, organised by the Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industries, will be held at the Russian Cultural Centre today at 6.30 pm.

        This festival, which started on January 11, 2007, was held in different places throughout Tamil Nadu, like Salem, Komarapalayam, and in Puducherry to commomerate Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India to take part in this year's Republic Day celebrations.

        Maestro Illayaraja recieved the Russian artists in Chennai today. The festival will end tommorow with a Russian extravaganza at the Santhome Hr. Sec. School grounds at 4.00 pm. Interested persons can contact the Russian Cutural Centre at 42077872, 93810 45779.
