        The temple town of Tirumala Hills which has been witnessing a heavy influx of devotees for the last couple of days has forced the temple administration to cancel the VIP and break-darshan to provide darshan to the ordinary pilgrims.

        In another significant move, TTD executive officer A P V Narayana Sharma directed the temple authorities to cancel all the arjitha sevas (paid sevas) to clear the pilgrim rush. However, devotees who had done advance booking for paid sevas would be provided darshan accordingly.

        The cancellation would remain in force till 21 January. Barring advance bookings, TTD had cancelled all current bookings and VIP and break- darshans to cope with the situation.
