'Pragati', a special training drive, was launched here by Rotary International Club and MCX recently.
According to a press release, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive, MCX has been organising a special awareness programmes for Rotarians to enable and empower the rural youth to get an insight into the benefit and career opportunities.
Pragati, an MCX centre of Academia Initiative, is an attempt to create empowerment with education and awareness to achieve economic growth in the rural strata. It aims to achieve economic growth of rural youth and to create first generation entrepreneurs with the right education in the existing agriculture ecosystem.
Bharat Pandya of Rotary International said the initiative would add value in creating an environment of growth and development for the economically backward rural youth.
MCX is also planning to introduce
a three-month subsidised course for the Rotarians, the press release added.
