Golden offer from HDFC Bank

        HDFC Bank, jointly with MasterCard International launched 'HDFC Bank Gold Business Card' for self employed and small businesses. The new card would offer value-added facilities to their businesses through business relevant features and partner tie-ups.

        The slew of benefits include low interest rate for the card, Petrol surcharge waiver at any fuel station across the country, Rs 2 lakh business insurance cover against theft and fire at office premises, Business savings through discounts on leading brands like Electrolux, Whirlpool, Godrej, HP Laptops, Comprehensive travel insurance covers including Rs 10 lakh air accident insurance and it comes with a credit limit of upto Rs 10 lakh, and credit free period of upto 45 days.

        Speaking on the occasion Parag Rao, head, HDFC Bank said, 'The SME and self employed sector in India is one of the key drivers of the country's economic future. HDFC Bank recognizes that this sector has unique business needs and hence needs specialized product offerings. HDFC Bank Gold Business Card is one such product that has been launched to enhance the overall value of the bank offering to this customer segment.'

        Nitin Chugh, head, HDFC Bank said, 'HDFC Bank wants to provide targeted products to address the evolving business needs of the SME sector to make them competitive in the marketplace. Through the Business Card, we want to address this segment effectively and enhance the bank's presence in this space.'

        The HDFC Bank Business Gold Card in the first phase will be available to customers in Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
