        The pension benefits of Tamilnadu Government pensioners, who retired between 1 April, 2003, and 30 July, 2006, will be revised and authorisation for drawal of difference in pension and commuted value of pension will be issued in a phased manner, according to a GO, dated 11 April, 2007.

        Pensioners have been requested to wait for authorisation till 31 July, 2007, barring which they can make representations to the Accountant General, Chennai, quoting their pension payment order number and date of retirement, said a press release.

        With respect to pensioners, who retired after 1 April, 2003, and died subsequently and authorisation has been issued in favour of the deceased, eligible family members or legal heirs have been asked to return the letter of authorisation, along with attested copies of the death certificate and legal heirship certificate, quoting the pension payment order number, to the pension disbursing officer, it added.
