        An English version on Bhagvad Gita written by V Uma Maheswaran was released here recently.

        RKM Vivekananda College principal Va Ve Su released the first copy and was received by Swami Sasvatananda of Dayananda Saraswathi Ashram.

        The author dedicated the book to his father advocate Vaidyanatha Ayyar of Alleppey. Quoting from the work of the author, Va Ve Su explained the importance of Gita as a world religious book and the contribution of India to spirituality in the world.

        Swami Sasvatananda explained the importance of Karma Yoga in daily life as a communion with God, a press release said.
