        Thomas Premkumar beat fourth seed S. Dharmaraj 6-4, 6-4 in the final of the BSNL junior tennis tournament at the Krishnan Tennis Centre, Kottivakkam, on Sunday. Sai Samitha bagged the girls under-14 title, beating A Sharmila 6-1, 7-5 in the final.

        Results (finals): Under 14: Boys singles: Thomas Premkumar bt S Dharmaraj 6-4, 6-4. Girls: Sai Samitha bt A Sharmila 6-1, 7-5.

        Boys Under-12 singles: N Ashwin Srivathsaav bt Mohd Abrar 6-7(4), 7-6(4), 6-3.
