Edutech signs up with UAE Academy

        Edutech, provider of training solutions, has signed an MoU with UAE Academy to exploit the availability of internet and communications technology for creating an online learning platform.

        The agreement signed by Magdi A Hafiz, CEO of UAE Academy and ASF Karim, managing director, Edutech, would combine the strengths of both the entities to the tap into the opportunities in the online media for education which has created a growing demand for end-to-end learning solutions.

        With experience in offering learning solutions and services which were being implemented in prestigious academic and corporate organisations, Edutech would now expand its clientele to include Army, police, oil industry, banks and government departments.

        The UAE Academy continued to play a major role in the improvement of business sector by providing skills and training essential to organi-sations in strengthening their place in the market. 'Through the Acade-my's continuous efforts to implement technology-enabled learning and training, we aim to contribute to the Emiratisation process as we believe that the UAE relies heavily on young professionals to shape and control its future. Our partnership with industry leaders such as Edutech would raise the potential of our talent pool and more especially, the youth,' said Mohammed Omar Abdullah, chairman, UAE Academy.

        Edutech's ability in improving the performance at both the academic and corporate sectors by designing and deploying the state-of-the-art learning solutions was a key factor in the UAE Academy's decision to partner with the company. Through the content merger of the Academy with the technology and consultancy skills of Edutech, an integrated online platform for learning would hone the leadership abilities, soft skills and managerial capabilities of UAE nationals and entrepreneurs.
