With names like KK, Shaan
and Anuradha Sriram lined up to perform for 'Amaze 07' with John Britto's
dance trip, Saturday evening at the Wesley Grounds, Royapettah, definitely
promised to be different from others. And, as expected, the arena was packed
to full capacity, with youngster forming a big chunk of it.

The event was organised by the Indian Institute of Planning and Management for raising funds for the Great Indian Dream Foundation (GIDF), a developmental organisation of national repute, facilitating community development initiatives since 2002.
The evening began with a KK's performance yaaron, the sound track from the movie Rockford.
It was followed by a rendering of some of his most popular hits like the mellow, romantic pal, kya mujhe pyar hai from Woh Lamhe, ding dong and Tadap tadap, which paved the way for his entry into Bollywood. He also sang his version of Summer of 69, which went down well with the college crowd.
Then, it Anuradha Sriram's turn to get the crowd in the groove. Her trademark song karuppu thaan enakku pidicha colouru was followed up with a long list of songs, including her evergreen hit O podu and appadi podu duet with KK. Then came the other star performer of the evening, Shaan. Dressed in black, Shaan got into the business immediately with the soundtrack of don, raising the tempo of the crowd to a new heights.
He performed the ultra cool, hip-hop songMain aisa kyon hoon from Lakhya and his hits bhool ja, tanha dil, suno naa, fanaa and more. As the show reached its peak, Shaan performed many duets with KK, which was well received by the crowd.
The duo rocked with dus bahane and kya mujhe pyar hai for which they got many encores.
