        The Chairman and members of the Committee of Management of Madras Race Club have decided that this year also there will be Pongal bonanza with lots of exciting prizes on the 'The Hindu' South India Derby Day.

        On Monday (15 Januray, 2007) every one entering the race course to attend the races will be given a prize coupon all you have to do is to drop the perforated portion of the prize coupon in to any of the boxes kept for this purpose at various places in the race course. But remember to keep the counter foils safely with you.

        Immedialtely after the Derby race there will be luck draw and the winners will be announced. But be sure to produce your counter foil before 6.30 pm on the same day to claim your prize.

        The list of prizes to be won includes TVS XL, colour TV, refrigerator, automatic washing machine, music system, DVD player.
