        Two persons were stabbed at a football competition held at Manali as part of Pongal celebration.

        According to police, a youth association at Chinnasekkadu locality in Manali had arranged for a football tournament to celebrate Pongal. During the match, a verbal duel broke out between the two teams resulting in the knifing of two persons, Sankar and Santhosh who were brothers.

        Both were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case and are on the look-out for stunt actor Prabhu and his colleagues Vijayakumar, Saravanan and Rajesh who had allegedly committed the assault on the brothers.
