        The premiere of Guru at Toronto's Elgin Winter Garden Theatre was attended by Mani Ratnam, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, A R Rehman and Rajiv Menon among others.

        Christie provided a 2K CP2000 projector for the screening and the Qube XP-D multi-format digital cinema server was used for playback of the flawless picture, sound and subtitles.

        Mani Ratnam, Rajiv Menon and A R Rehman all complimented the excellent quality of the presentation at the premiere.

        QubeMaster was used for the JPEG2000 encoding as well as for the MPEG-2 encoding used for the E-Cinema release of the film in India and for the first time again, in the US as well.

        Both Mani Ratnam and his ace cinematographer Rajeev Menon were thrilled to see the full impact of their work on the screen without any

        loss whatsoever and with sharpness that has never been seen before on film. Guru was digitally mastered from DI exclusively by Real Image on QubeMaster and a Hi-Definition transfer of this digital master was provided to other digital cinema providers as the source.
