        Teams from Kerala, Goa, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will battle it out for honours in the annual Don Bosco - Fr McFerran Trophy All India football tournament 2007 will be held from 14 to 28 January at the Don Bosco Youth Centre (Red Hills).

        The outstation teams include DBO (Fatorda), Globe Football Club (Hyderabad), SCR (Secunderabad), Universal Soccer School (Calicut), DBYC (Kochi) & Bangalore DFA XI.

        Indian Bank, Customs Recreation Club and Netaji Sports Club represent the local challenge.

        The winning team stands to get richer by Rs 25,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs 15,000.

        The opening match will be between Don Bosco - Annai Youth and Tiruvallur District Football Association XI.

        State Fisheries Minister K P P Samy will inaugurate the tournament.
