        In keeping with its policy of providing up-to-date do-it-yourself procedures to users, www.aceprocedures.com has now introduced a comprehensive module on VAT in Tamilnadu.

        The module contains detailed procedures to be followed under VAT, forms, fees, schedules and rates, formats and jurisdiction. Subscribers can also use the query-answer facility to clarify their doubts. In addition to the VAT module, modules on excise duty, customs duty, ESI and a module exclusively for SMEs are also under preparation and will be launched soon.

        To encourage first time users to obtain the benefits of the site, the site has introduced two-month and sixth month subscription priced at Rs 190 and Rs 540 respectively. This is in addition to the regular annual subscription of Rs 990.

        Since its launch in June 2006, the portal has gathered a good subscriber base among businessmen and professionals and is well on its way to achieving the subscriber target for the first year.

        Based on the customer feedback, a number of changes have been made to the various aspects of the site to make it more user-friendl. The changes include the look of the site, the download formats, indexing and grouping of the Q&As under logical headings.

All these have been done at no extra cost to the subscriber. For the benefit of users, the site has also decided to extend the free query-answer scheme for some more time to come.
