        Conspiracy of Calaspia, an epic novel, written by the acclaimed twin authors, Jyoti and Suresh Guptara, was launched in Odyssey, Adyar. Jyoti Guptara, one of the twins, and considered to be the youngest full time writer in the world was present on the occasion.

        Jyoti Guptara read excerpts from his novel and enthralled the audience narrating his experiences of writing the book together with his twin brother. The author also interacted with the audience gathered for the evening.

        The novel is all about the struggle and battle of small time heroes of the fantasy town of Calaspia against the evil forces called Insanity. The Novel deals with a potpourri of plots involving life, betrayal, murder, deception, suspicion, friendship, enmity, mystery etc.

        Jyoti and Suresh completed the first draft of Conspiracy of Calaspia at the age of eleven based on the ideas they had playfully acted out during their younger years. Six years and nine revisions and rewrites later, Conspiracy has grown from a simple children's tale to a multi-layered novel of 180,000 words, the first of a complex saga of several fantasy novels.

        The Book traces the heroics of Bryn, whose peaceful village called Calaspia, is being invaded by some insidious powers. Bryn joins forces with brave individuals to stop the destruction of his beloved village. In the process, he is caught in a web of danger, and evil. The book is all about heroism, cowardice, treachery, deception and intrigue. This book is the beginning of an epic tale of the multi-volume insanity series.
