Man held for forgery

A 40-year-old man is in trouble for making duplicate seals and government emblems and forging the signature of a Tahsildhar. He was arrested at Teynampet here yesterday.

Bus burning case: HC stays verdict

The Madras High Court today granted bail to 25 persons who were convicted to 7-year imprisonment in the case of death of three girl students in a bus burning incident at Dharmapuri. The court also temporarily stayed the verdict awarded by the lower court until the hearing of the appeal is completed.
