        Four persons, who were involved in using fake credit cards and withdrawing cash from different private banks to the tune of Rs 3.5 lakh, have been arrested by the police.

        According to the Central Crime Branch police (CCB), the arrested were E Thomas Baskar (33) of Kodambakkam, R Mehaboob (33) of Vadapalani, V Vasanth (30) of Kodambakkam and I Ashok Kumar (33) of Ayanavaram. Police said they had got hold of the software of credit cards from Bulgaria and created the fake ones. The CCB police received a complaint from one of the private banks following which the four were apprehended.
