AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Ideology

The history of mankind has ample proof to vindicate the theory that ideology had caused it more pain than pleasure. Ideas spread like fire among thorns, inflaming the ignorant.

At the beginning, it was said that, like the infallible God in heaven, there was the infallible ruler, the king, in this world. The say was that, in the king, resided a spark of Lord Vishnu.

Over many decades, the fallacy went unchallenged until royal tyranny compelled people to rein it in by insisting on his having to abide by the advice of a Council of Wise Man.

Monarchical tyranny got replaced over time by its modern variants of communism and democracy. The former helped promote dictatorships worse than monarchical tyranny.

Democracy sought to make people supreme and ended up in rule by the coterie in power just like the coterie that surrounded the communist helmsmen.

An idea is as good as far it keeps its purity. That purity is sullied by the aggrandisement of the rulers, be they communists or secular democrats.

And in the matter of ideology, when there is confusion over the roles of the State and religion, the former wins by deliberate denigration of the latter.

It is more so under the compulsions of the ideology of secularism when the term becomes synonymous with atheism. To be irreligious seems to be the present rage.
