        The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) will re-route the buses between Halda junction and Little Mount junction on Anna Salai from 15 April, following the enforcement of 'one way' traffic implemented by the Chennai City Traffic Police (CCTP) recently.

        According to an official press release here today buses from Guindy to Velachery (route numbers: 70D, D70, M70, M70K, 270, 51L) will continue to ply on Anna Salai upto Little Mount junction and take a right turn into Taluk Office Road and at the end of the stretch at Raj Bhavan main gate and turn right on Sardar Patel Road. The buses from Sardar Patel Road will again take left turn at Concord to proceed Velachery High Road.

        Buses from Guindy to Adyar (route numbers: 21E, 21E extn, 21G, 21K, 21M, PP21, 54F, 54F ext, 60E, 60G, M21G, M49 ) will continue on Anna Salai upto Little Mount junction and take right turn into Taluk office road and at the end of the stretch at Raj Bhavan again turn left on Sardar Patel road to proceed to Adyar.

        Buses from Saidapet to Guindy / Guindy race course (route numbers 1B, 18A, 18E, K18, A18cut, A18, B18, E18, G18, H18, L18, 18D, 18T, 18D Extn, 52, 52B, 52D, 52E, 52G, 52K, 52L, 52P, 54, 54G, 54K, 54L, 54M, 54T, 54T cut, 54V, G54, 60, 60A, 60C, 60H, 88C, 88C cut, 88C Extn, 88K , 88L, 254, 518, 579, 554, 597, M18C, M54, M54B, M54E, M54P, M79, M88C, M88D, M154 / route numbers - 9M, M7, 5A express, M5G, 51D, 51N, 51M, 51F, 51P, 51R, V51, D51, M45, 45E instead of proceeding straight on Anna Salai will take left turn at Taluk office road and at proceed upto Raj Bhavan main gate, turn right on Sardar Patel Road to proceed upto Halda junction and then left turn into Anna Salai to Guindy / Guindy race course.

        Buses from Saidapet to Velachery (route numbers 5A, 1G, 1G cut, 18P, 29N, 29N extn, B29N, 45A extn, 51E, M51B, M51C, M51D, M51H ) will turn left on Taluk office road straight upto Raj Bhavan main gate and then turn right on Sardar Patel road upto Concord and then take left turn to proceed to Velachery.

        Buses from Adyar to Saidapet (route numbers - 5B, 5E, 5T, 18B, 23C, 23C extn, 23G, 23M, 29L, 47, 47A, 47D, 47G, 19B, M19B, 19C, M19C cut, 19G, G 19, A47, G47, 519, PP49) will proceed straight on Sardar Patel Road upto Halda junction and will turn right into Annasalai.

        While buses from Velachery to Adyar (route numbers - 21, 21extn, K51, PP51) on usual course upto Concord and then turn left on Sardar Patel Road to Halda junction and then turn right on Anna Salai upto Little Mount junction and the turn right on Taluk office road straight to Raj Bhavan main gate, and take left turn on Sardar Patel Road to proceed to Adyar.

        Buses from Velachery to Saidapet (route numbers - 45A, 45A extn, 51, M51B, M51C, M51H etc) after reaching Concord will turn left on Sardar Patel Road upto Halda junction and the turn right on Anna Salai to proceed to Saidapet.

        Following the diversions additional bus stops for all the buses will be provided opposite to Saidapet depot. On the return direction for the buses indicated above there will be no changes in the course and it would be operated on its usual route.
