        Miscreants broke into a temple at Otteri here last night and decamped with offerings in hundi.

        The incident came to light this morning when the priest Suresh of the Varasiddhi Vinayakar Temple situated at the junction of New Street and Chellappa Street arrived to open the temple. He found to his shock that the lock on the hundi prised open and the contents emptied.
