Chennai, Apr 10:
AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today wanted the Centre to dismiss the DMK government and impose President's rule in the State.
Referring to the recent bomb blast that occurred in Sendur village near Tindivanam, the AIADMK general secretary said that the law and order situation in the state had deteriorated and added this was a cause for concern.
She said that only an 'RDX bomb' and not a 'detonator,' as termed by DMK party chief M Karunanidhi, could have caused such 'widespread destruction.'
'This incident spells danger to Tamilnadu,' she said. She alleged that this was the handiwork of terrorists, who were allowed to roam at large ever since the DMK came to power.
In a statement here, she
said that the party would be holding public meetings between 13 and 16
April, 2007, in all 234 constituencies in the state, to expose the DMK
Government 'activities in support of terrorists.'
