Sundaram Finance Limited will host a two-day annual meet of International Finance and Leasing Association (IFLA) starting tomorrow. The annual meet is the premier forum for IFLA members to share their experiences and learn from global trends.
The event being held in the city outskirts would debate common issues and trends in marketing, process and technology, HR and risk management, among other issues.
Commenting on the annual event, Kristjan Oskarsson, president, IFLA said, 'The primary objective of IFLA is to provide a forum for global leaders in the finance and leasing space to exchange ideas, knowledge, experience and information, leading to the formation of virtual qualitative benchmarking group. Frequent exchange of information and benchmarking among the members ensure that all the members can benefit from the latest developments in financing.'
T T Srinivasaraghavan, managing director, Sundaram Finance said, 'We are proud to host this important global event in Chennai. The theme for this year's event is 'Growth', revolving around ideas of breakthrough growth and accelerating growth. Senior management teams from 19 global finance and leasing companies are expected to participate in this event.'
IFLA is a network of leading
finance companies all over the world. IFLA is over 40 years old and has
representation from 26 countries. Each country is represented by one company
and Sundaram Finance has represented India at IFLA for over 25 years. Current
members include Sundaram Finance, Fortis, BNP Paribas, Lombard, Banco Sabadell,
Nordea, DnB NOR, Esanda /ANZ, amongst others.
