India's Dilip Rogger finished 9th in one of the two races in the fourth round of the FIM Asian Grand Prix held at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, 2 September.
According to a press release here, Rogger took part in the SuperSports 600 cc category with his Honda CBR 600 cc bike. There were a total of 22 riders on the grid from Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Italy, Singapore, Germany and India.
In the qualifying on Friday, he secured 12th position on the grid. In race one, Rogger had a good start and also managed to overtake a few riders in the first corner itself. Finally, he managed a ninth-place finish. In the second race, Rogger finished in 12th position.
In the Championship Classification after four rounds, Rogger is 10th among 30 riders.
'It was raining when I started race one. It was a good start for me.I managed to run to first corner overtaking my opponents.
Later few riders overtook
me because their bikes were much more powerful. Finally I managed my race
form and finished 9th,' Rogger said after the first race.
