        Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Thandalam has signed a MoU with University of Regina Canada for joint educational and research activities, exchange of academic materials, faculty members and students for studies and research works.

        The MoU was signed by the interim president of University of Regina Allan Cahoon and correspondent of REC S Meganathan in presence of Canadian Minister for Industry and Resources Saskatchewan here recently.

        The Minister said that 'he would take steps to simplify the visa procedure for Indian students to visit Canada for higher education,' a press release said.
