        The State government has announced that the entrance and treatment fees for animals taken to government veterinary hospitals has been abolished. According to an official press release, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has announced the cancellation of the fees. Earlier, an entrance and treatment fee of Rs 5 each were charged for the animals in veterinary hospitals.
