Mobile lab to check quality of water

        To overcome the misconceptions about the quality of drinking water among the public, Tamilnadu Water and Drainage department (TWAD) has come up with two mobile laboratories, equipped with sophisticated instruments to check the quality of the water on the spot with nominal charges.

        The officials today received a complaint from the residents of Mayor Basudev Street at Washermenpet about the contamination water from a drinking water pipe. The mobile unit lead by TWAD's Executive Engineer Janardhanan and Area Engineer Rajan visited the area and conducted the test.
