        A printing press employee, who was suffering from acute stomach pain, reportedly consumed some medicine and died yesterday near Maduravoyal here.

        The victim, police said, was Babu (24) of Vanagaram Sivaboothamedu near Maduravoyal. He used to suffer from stomachache frequently. When he developed severe pain yesterday he consumed improper Kokku medicine. And as he was fighting for life, he was rushed to Kilpauk Government Hospital where he died without responding to treatment.

        Maduravoyal police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
