Nandini Voice For The Deprived, a NGO running free computer schools has expanded its facilities to accommodate more students.
Accordingly, 60 students would be accommodated at Nandini Computer School, Korattur. Earlier the intake was 30 students only.
At the inaugural session held on Monday, 12 children from lower income families in the age group of 10 were admitted.
The NGO with seven centres in Tamilnadu has been providing six month course in basic computer operation for the benefit of students from lower income group.
Around 220 students from lower income group are undergoing free training at different centres and in the last two years over 2,700 students have completed the course and got jobs.
