        Most of Chennaiites thronged the Chennai Trade Centre on the eve of New Year last Sunday as city- based The Country Club organised a fun-filled New Year bash with dance and light-music performance in the metropolis.

        From six- year- old to 70-year- old, people were enjoying their time out with some of the sizzling film songs being churned out by the music band.

        There were popular remixes, gana songs, all time favourites and in addition to dance performance staged by a city- based dance company.

        Some of the Kollywood playback singers like Roshni, Madhumita enthralled the audience. Crackers were bursted as part of welcoming the new year and actress Sangeetha gave a fine dance performance.

        Veteran actress Jayachitra and top businessmen and employees of The Country Club were also present on the occasion.
