        Central Crime Branch (CCB) of City Police have slapped another three cases against the pimp Kannada Prasad for luring girls into prostitution racket with assurance of an entry in to film world and job offers.

        Lodged at Central Prison, Puzhal, he would be taken into police custody for interrogation by CCB, according to sources, on new charges slapped against him. It has come to light that Prasad had cheated many young girls with the promise of jobs and opportunity in films and forced them into prostitution.

        One such victim Simran, rescued by the police, was given a medical check-up at the Government Hospital yesterday. According to sources, police were also interrogating an Assamese girl, Kushyum, who was alleged to be the third wife of the arrested pimp. She was also lodged in prison.

        Three girls from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were allegedly enticed by Prasad into his trap and were forced into flesh trade. Following this, three cases were now slapped against him. Prasad's aide Gangadharan and broker Vimala were arrested by police already and being questioned. Following new cases against him, the CCB had decided to take the pimp into its custody for a detailed enquiry.
