        Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali has appealed to the US government for a very serious reconsideration of its policies and conduct in relation to the Muslim world.

        In a memorandum submitted to David C Mulford, Ambassador of the USA in India, who visited Prince of Arcot's Amir Mahal yesterday, the Prince said, 'It appears the US is tragically acting against its own vital interests by its policies which have had the effect over the last 35 years of wounding not only Palestinian society, Arab society but the Muslim world in general'.

        In a press release here, the Prince gave instances of one-sided support of US to Israel in all its acts, policies, aggressions and depredations against the hapless Palestinian people, who have been rendered prisoners and refugees in their own land. The Muslim nations were refused of technology and they were being punished for acquiring nuclear technology, while other countries like Israel are allowed to go scot free.

        He added that Muslims of India were firmly of the view that the reason for the sad state of affairs was because of the policy-making in the US in respect of its relegations with the Arab and Muslim world.

        'The course of conduct and policy by the US government should be severely detrimental not only to the very interests of the USA but also to the world peace', Prince added.
