        Previous enmity resulted in a bloody duel leading to the stabbing of a 25-year-old youth at Kannagi Nagar in suburbanThoraipakkam. Four persons including three women were arrested in connection with the attack.

        According to police, Surya , a resident of Kannagi Nagar and his neighbour Jayakumar, were at loggerheads for sometime and had resorted to wordy duels.

        Yesterday, Jayakumar and his relatives picked up a quarrel with Surya. In a fit of rage, Jayakumar stabbed Surya with a knife.

        Surya, who sustained serious injuries was rushed to Government Hospital. His condition is said to be critical. Thoraipakkam police have registered a case and arrested four persons including three women. Search is on for Jayakumar.
