        SSN Institutions entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the fastest growing top-tier IT services and BPO company, Cognizant Technology Solutions.

        The MoU was signed by Dr S Salivahanan, Principal, SSN College of Engineering and Bhaskar Das, vice president, HR, Cognizant Technology Solutions.

        Under the broad understanding, Cognizant will sponsor programs such as technical symposia and cultural events; conduct student workshops; and will arrange for guest lectures for college students on a periodic basis. Experts in different facets of information technology, domain, process and project management and other related areas from Cognizant will act as visiting faculty at SSN College of Engineering and will conduct faculty development workshops.

        As a part of this initiative, within the ambit of the MoU, Cognizant will also institute Best Outgoing Student and Best Faculty Awards.
