        New bus routes in suburban Nanganallur and Thillai Ganga Nagar were inaugurated today by Transport Minister K N Nehru and Labour Minister T M Anbarasan following public demand and directive from Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

        Route no M 70N bus would ply from Nanganallur to Koyambedu touching Chidambaram Stores, Thillai Ganga Nagar, M K N Road, Alandur depot, Ahsar Ghana, Ambal Nagar, Ashok Pillar and Vadapalani. While route No M 79 would ply from T Nagar to Padappai via Guindy, Chromepet, Tambaram, Old Perungalathur, Mudichur, Mannivakkam and Karasangal.

        MTC managing director R Balasubramanian, general manager (operation) R Ramasubramanian and other officials were present on the occasion.
