        A 28-year-old man gained entry into the Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Tamilnadu Governor here, despite the tight security in view of the Prime Minister's visit.

        According to police, the intruder identieid as Shivaji Rao from Andhra Pradesh, on learning about the Prime Minister visit to the city, tried to enter the premises and wanted to hand over a petition to him (Prime Minister) in connection with his need for employment.

        Investigations are on to find out whether the reason given by the youth was true or if he was mentally ill.
