        AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today said the DMK government remained a silent spectator in the Mullaiperiyar dam issue even as the parapet well of the dam was vandalised allegedly with the connivance of Kerala police.

        In a statement here, the AIADMK supremo charged Chief Minister M Karunanidhi with 'ordering' government officials, politicos, businessmen and actors to see his son and State Minister M K Stalin who had been admitted in a hospital.
